Addiction
Substance abuse and drug addiction is easy to diagnose, but requires a drug addiction treatment program that address the root cause of drug or alcohol addiction. Looking for the best treatment for drug addiction should include careful consideration of the treatment approaches available.
Just searching for a ‘treatment center near me’ may not yield treatment facilities that incorporate behavioral therapies, mental health specialties, or comprehensive addiction treatment. It is important when searching for an addiction treatment center, to know what you are searching for. There are a few factors that are pertinent to finding the best drug and alcohol treatment for you.
What Do You Need?
The National Institute on Drug Abuse makes clear that treatment for drug addiction goes far beyond a medical detox. At Royal Life Centers, we agree. For a successful recovery from drug addiction, guests need the physical stability of a medical detox center, followed by comprehensive addiction treatment that addresses mental health and how to enlarge your spirituality. Medical detox, to address the physical side effects of addiction, is the first step toward a drug free future.
It is extremely important to treat mental and behavioral health during addiction treatment. When looking for the best treatment for drug addiction, keep in mind that drug addiction goes deeper than just substance abuse. Finding a treatment facility that includes mental health, behavioral health and spiritual wellness, will greatly increase your chances of lasting sobriety. You should look for treatment centers that can assess, evaluate, and treat any co-occuring disorders (like anxiety, depression, personality disorders, etc.)
At Royal Life Centers, our philosophy is to treat the body, mind, and spirit. Our treatment facility works with guests to create treatment plans using proven effective methods of recovery. Long term sobriety is best achieved by attending an inpatient rehab facility following detox, working a 12-step program, and examining relapse prevention.
Levels of Care
Royal Life Centers at Chapter 5 is named from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, chapter 5, or How It Works. This chapter outlines how the 12-step program of recovery works for those who suffer with addiction. We focus on teaching guests a program of recovery that is proven to work through clinical trials. In all levels of our care, we focus on treating the mind, body, and spirit with a 12-step program coupled with therapy.
Our levels of care are designed to ease guests through the recovery process, providing care and support to best treat alcohol or drug addiction. The levels of care we offer in Royal Life Centers at Chapter 5 include medical detox, residential inpatient, PHP or partial hospitalization program, IOP or intensive outpatient, OP or outpatient, and sober living.
How We Treat
At Royal Life centers, we subscribe to an approach of treating the mind, body and spirit of each guest. Our treatment is individualized, as guests work with our clinical team to customize a plan of action for their own recovery. Our addiction treatment program is designed to ease our guests back into life, with support and confidence in their recovery. We work with guests to tailor a treatment plan made specifically for them.
Medical Detox
We first treat guests in medical detox, to safely treat the symptoms of withdrawal they may experience after removing the substance from their bodies. Guests are monitored 24/7 while in medical detox, to ensure their safety and comfort.
Residential Inpatient
The next level of care is residential inpatient, where guests attend group therapy sessions for five hours each day of the week, have scheduled individual therapy sessions regularly, and access to medical professionals 24/7 to address any needs they may have.
PHP
Following our residential inpatient program, the next level of care is PHP or the partial hospitalization program. At Royal Life Centers, we offer a 9-week outpatient program- PHP is the first phase of that 9-week program. While in PHP, our guests are able to transition from a structured setting to a more flexible IOP program. During PHP, guests attend group therapy sessions for six hours per day, six days out of the week. Guests choose the group therapy sessions they see fit for their personal successful recovery, as they work with a clinical team to build their therapy schedule.
IOP
Guests move to the second phase of our 9-week program, which is considered intensive outpatient. In our intensive outpatient program, guests gain more freedom. For the first three weeks in IOP, guests attend group therapy for three hours per day, five days a week. For the last three weeks, guests will attend group therapy for three hours per day, three days out of the week. Participation in individual therapy and activity therapy is also continued. A vocational program is included before completion of the intensive outpatient program, in which guests are prepared for finding a job with job readiness training and resume building.
OP
Our outpatient program is available to guests who have completed our 9-week program, and to any guest who wants to further solidify their sobriety. At Royal Life Centers, our outpatient program is very flexible. Guests can choose to partake in group therapy daily, weekly, or on a monthly basis. We provide the opportunity for a strong recovery, no matter how busy our guest’s schedules are.
Sober Living
Royal Life Centers at Chapter 5 has what we call “graduate housing” or sober living. This option is for our guests who have completed our 9-week program, and would like to live in a supportive recovery environment while working. Our sober living facilities provide a safe environment, with accountability and support to maintain strong sobriety.
