Orick is our General Manager and is an active member of the Yavapai Adult Drug Court and DUI programs. Formerly a construction and maintenance worker, he is working towards his certificate in substance abuse therapy at Yavapai Community College.
Bill drank and used drugs for 32 years. He tried many different times to quit, but couldn't, until he found his higher power and asked for help. With the help of the Drug Court program and Chapter 5, Bill has been clean and sober since November 2, 2005 and is fulfilling his promise to his higher power to help others in recovery. Bill is truly one of Chapter 5’s great success stories.

Don is the manager of the Transition House. He also facilitates the Recovery Dynamics course offered by Chapter 5. After the Marine Corps, Don graduated from the University of Wisconsin and received his MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Don is a recovering alcoholic who was an executive in the Automotive Finance Industry for 25 years.

Dan is the House Manager for our Cottonwood facility and a graduate of Yavapai Drug Court. Before getting into recovery, he worked off and on in the construction industry, and at several area restaurants. He trained under our Prescott House Manager as his assistant before coming to Cottonwood. Dan arrived in Prescott February 22, 2007 and has been an active member of the recovery community in Prescott ever since.

Elliott is Assistant House Manager of our Cottonwood facility. Although it took him a few tries to finally ‘get it right’, he has been drug and alcohol free since May 2006. Born and raised in Kingman, Arizona, Elliott has worked at golf courses and in the construction of heating and cooling systems. He is a graduate of Yavapai County’s Drug Court system, a staff member of the V.V.C.T.C., and he was the first co-facilitator of the matrix model I.O.P. program.
Elliott plans to go back to school to become a chemical dependence therapist.
Steve Knight | Resident Chaplain
"Father Steve" Knight is a retired Episcopal priest and Navy chaplain with 47 years of sobriety. He is active with Chapter 5 in teaching "Back to Basics", the method used by the first 100 people in AA recovery. His other ministries involve taking the program of recovery to hospitals and institutions.
Jessica Orick | Admissions Coordinator | Jessica@Chapter5Recovery.com
Jessica Orick is our Admissions Coordinator and the liaison between treatment centers and Chapter 5. She is currently working towards her nursing degree at Yavapai College and hopes to someday work as a Nurse Practitioner in a treatment center. Jessica has first-hand knowledge of drug addiction and alcoholism through her loved ones, giving her empathy and understanding when relating with guests, family members and treatment centers.
